For the past Six years, I have been the Project Manager for a voluntary housing scheme, Project John.
Project John helps young people in Barrow-in-Furness, aged between 16-25 to settle into their new safe accommodation and learn/enhance essential life skills. Project John offers young people, safe, decent supported accommodation.
Project John was set up in 1993 and has its own housing stock of 18 units, a mixture of houses and flats. To date, Project John has housed and helped over 500 young people in Barrow-in-Furness.
