Whilst working away from home and only returning
at the weekends, Helen recognised other people would be in a similar situation - wanting to spend Leisure time at Leisure and not having to
do the necessary household tasks. This is what gave Helem the idea for a business – Ladybirds Lifestyle Support Service.
Ladybirds is a company dedicated to helping people in the area enjoy their leisure time by offering domestic home help services.
With the help of FAB and Furness Enterprise, Helen set up a unique lifestyle support business, Ladybirds in 2004 and today employs 10 people offering help around the home in Furness and the South Lakes.
Ladybirds motto is: “Any task, just ask”.

The business has grown to meet the needs of busy professionals and older clients needing help to remain independent at home. Ladybirds has also recently extended their offering with the recruitment of a qualified State Registered Nurse, and are now able to offer home help to patients released from hospital.
